Drawer - four

"Conway Stewart No. 35 and Conway Stewart 28.

bviously I have had to pick and choose from my collection, so I have opted for the 35 series which was made just prior to and at the beginning of WW2. These pens still show the elegant flat top and uniform cylindrical design. The lower row shows No. 28 post war pens for which I have both the single banded and bandless models.

n the first row we have the 35's with a sage green reversed cracked ice on the left. There is also a one banded black model made of hard rubber. For the 28's on the lower row, one wonders whether the no banded pens were simply slip-ups in the production line, or were manufactured on purpose.
